Liberia’s land is rich, and its people, even richer in culture and potential. However, far too often, corporate concessions lead to exploitation, displacement, and the silencing of local communities. The rush for natural resources can harm the very communities who have lived on and nurtured the land for generations. 

Our Concession Watch initiative focuses on mapping corporate deals, uncovering violations, and amplifying the voices of those most affected. By following the money trail and analyzing these concessions, we shine a light on the destructive impact these corporate dealings have on communities. We stand by the belief that every concession deal should prioritize the people, not exploit them. Through detailed investigations and transparency, we ensure that corporate practices are held to ethical standards, promoting fairness and accountability. Our goal is to protect Liberia’s land and people, making sure that any development aligns with the best interests of the community, fostering sustainable growth and respecting the rights of those most affected.

Our Ethical Spotlight initiative aims to shine a light on corporations that operate with integrity, transparency, and a genuine commitment to community welfare. We believe that promoting ethical business practices is key to fostering a more sustainable and equitable society. Through this program, we recognize and publicize businesses that are making a positive impact—those that prioritize environmental stewardship, fair labor practices, and community development. 

By showcasing these exemplary companies, we hope to set a benchmark for others, encouraging the corporate sector to adopt similar standards of accountability and responsibility. Ultimately, the Ethical Spotlight serves as a tool for inspiring change and rewarding businesses that contribute positively to the well-being of Liberia and its people.

Our Coalition Partners initiative focuses on building strategic alliances with like-minded organizations, both locally and globally, to strengthen the movement for responsible corporate practices. By collaborating with NGOs, community groups, policy advocates, and other stakeholders, we create a unified front that amplifies our collective voice and enhances our advocacy efforts. These partnerships allow us to pool resources, share knowledge, and engage in joint campaigns that hold corporations accountable for their impact on communities and the environment. 

Together, we are better equipped to push for reforms, create systemic change, and build a future where corporate actions align with the values of justice and sustainability.

Our Community Forums initiative is designed to create safe and inclusive spaces where open dialogue can thrive between local communities, corporations, and various stakeholders. These forums serve as platforms for mutual understanding, where people can voice their concerns, share their experiences, and collaborate on solutions that benefit everyone. 

By fostering a spirit of transparency and cooperation, we aim to break down barriers and build trust between communities and corporations. In doing so, we hope to create a shared vision for development that places people at the center of decision-making. These forums are vital in ensuring that development initiatives are truly reflective of community needs, empowering local residents to engage directly in shaping their own futures.

The Rebuild Liberia Campaign is a nationwide initiative focused on supporting sustainable development and community-driven growth, with particular emphasis on rebuilding areas affected by corporate exploitation. This campaign works to address the long-term consequences of irresponsible corporate activities, such as environmental degradation and displacement, by promoting restoration, equity, and local empowerment. 

The campaign engages communities in hands-on development efforts, prioritizing projects that not only rebuild physical infrastructure but also strengthen social cohesion and economic resilience. Through the Rebuild Liberia Campaign, we aim to create lasting change by encouraging businesses, policymakers, and citizens to work together in fostering a future of prosperity that benefits all Liberians, not just a select few.
